Written by Mark Orion, Freezing Slowly was performed live with Straight Up's lead singer, Xeno, in a theatrical production with snow machines, and dramatic lighting as he delivered the story of the protagonist's end. Regarded as one of rock's historic pioneers in live stage productions, Straight Up was known for their pyrotechnics, integrated giant screen live video, snow machines, propane flame throwers, smoke/fire bombs etc etc - the fans loved them - it was an amazing show to see and the band remains situated in Minnesota rock history as one of the finest shows that toured in the 1970's.
