This CD contains all original songs composed and arranged by the band during their over-10 years of gigging together. Oftentimes, a member of the band would bring an idea to the rehearsal room, and the song would materialize over a 1-2 rehearsal sessions before it was ready to gig at the next show. True to the nature of the band, the versions that you hear on the CD may not always be what you hear at their live shows, as the band’s music is always evolving through improvisation, different points in the band’s growth, as well as the whim of the band members and how they feel on any given night. However, all the songs stay true to what the band stands for – straight-ahead, honest, blues-based rock! From more laid-back, swingy songs like “Let’s Have Some Fun”, to the funkier stylings of “I Don’t Wanna Lose You”, to the balls-to-the-wall number “Rocketship” – and everything in between – the CD will be a fun listen for blues rock lovers, but should also satisfy even loose fans of the genre!
