As a songwriter who also plays sax, I've always wanted to make an instrumental album. One that puts full focus on the varying shades of the alto sax. I'm delighted to present you with these five saxophone pieces. A friend suggested that the pieces form a suite, telling the story of a holiday romance. I like that idea - we start with carefree calypso, through unfolding romance, finally to solitary reflection.
