Hriday Gattani Born, 20th Jan. ‘91 (Capricorn/Aquarian), a perfect blend of sensitivity and creativity; He aspires to chase his dreams, but loves the journey even more. Background: His versatility comes from his huge range of training. At the age of 13 he trained under the legendary Gulam Mustafa Khan saab, many a stalwarts have learned under his able guidance, Asha Bhonsle, Sonu Nigam, Hari Haran, Shaan, to name a few. Hriday too was lucky to be blessed. Khan saab told him to take a break as his vocal chords were at the stage of maturing and changing. He then switched to a new style with Vishwaraj Panditji, ( Mewati Gharana) lineages of Pandit Jasraj. Thereafter, his journey took him to Chennai where, he studied western classical (Vocals) at the KM College of Music and Technology. It is in Chennai where he developed a keen interest in songwriting. By now Hriday has a bank of almost 30 songs. The 1st of which is to be released very soon. She was one of the winners of the Channel V show Popstars and as such, became a member of the Indian pop group Aasma with the other winners of the show. She was also on the Star Plus show Music Ka Maha Muqabla, where she was part of the winning team Shankar's Rockstars led by Shankar Mahadevan. She is a regular on A.R. Rahman live shows. Mohan made her singing debut in Bollywood by Singing 'Ishq Wala Love' from Student Of The Year opposite Shekhar Ravjiani and Salim Merchant. The song as well as Mohan received to rave reviews from critics. The song topped the music lists for a long period of time thus becoming a chart-buster and a high commercial success. "Ishq Wala Love" remains one of the most listened songs on gaana.com (Popular music website throughout the globe). The song became the biggest hit of Student of the Year as well as Mohan's all-time biggest critical and commercial success till date.Mohan's ended the year 2012 with 'Jiya Re' from Jab Tak Hai Jaan. It was a high critical and commercial success. In the annual Top 100 songs of Radio Mirchi 2012; Ishq Wala Love and Jiya Re featured in the top 60, ranking at No. 13 and No. 57 respectively. Both her songs earned her various nominations and also some prestigious awards at the various Awards Function. She started the year 2013 with 'Saadi Galli Aaja' for Nautanki Saala opposite Ayushman Khurana. The song stroke a right chord with the audience especially the youth like her earlier songs. It received positive response from critics and audience alike. In the annual Top 100 songs of Radio Mirchi 2013; Saadi Galli Aaja featured in the top 20, ranking at No. 18. In an Interview by Mohan about her Saddi Galli Aaja, She said that she had not known Punjabi and had to rehearse Punjabi vocals first and then record her popular song.It was her third consecutive success in Bollywood after her Ishq Wala Love and Jiya Re.She has also lent her voice to the remixed versions of her popular songs – Ishq Wala Love and Saddi Galli Aaja. Later she sang include Nazar Laaye from Raanjhanaa opposite Rashid Ali and Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari from Chennai Express opposite Sunidhi Chauhan and Arijit Singh. While the former gave her high critical acclaim, the later turned out to be a grand hit. She had also lent her voice for Har Kisi Ko from Boss for which she again received rave reviews from critics. She started the year 2014 with Tune Maari Entriyaan from Gunday. Upon release the song as well as Mohan received mixed reviews from critics but the song became extremely popular and had strongly topped the chartlists. Tune Maari Entriyaan became one of the biggest hits of the year 2014.Next she sang to the reprise version of the hit track Dard Dilo Ke from The Xpose.She has currently sang Caller Tune from Humshakals has become an instant hit among the youth.
