Did someone just re-open the Paradise Garage for nostalgic purposes? This track takes you back to a magical place; a place where real vocalists could not only sing but SANG behind hypnotic rythyms, that kept you on the floor all night long. This remake of the classic Atlantic Starr's "Send For Me" is an auspicious introduction to Ms. Barbara Douglas, who I am sure will be sent for, as long as she continues to seduce us with a muse like vocalist style. House music hasn't had a Super Heroine since Adeva in the 80's and Crystal Waters in the 90's. In 2013, James Sapp, Barbara Douglas, & Rodney Winston have formed a power house to save us from the mundane. I am extremely excited about the possibilties of more great music to come.
